Microbubble Aeration in A Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) Increased Dissolved Oxygen, Fish Culture Performance, and Stress Resistance of Red Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.)

Microbubble aeration has been recognized as a tool to improve dissolved oxygen and fish culture performance in limited water aquaculture. This research aims investigate the effect of microbubble on increasing oxygen, performance, stress resistance red tilapia. The study used 3 treatments aerations namely microbubble, blower, without with replicates each. Red tilapia weighing 115.27±3.93 g were stocked plastic tank 800 L volume at density 50 individual/tank cultured for days recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). Dissolved evaluated. was monitored daily. In middle period, test performed using different salinity 12 24 ppt. Statistical analysis subjected quality, stressed resistance. able stabilize DO level 4.28 mg/L until end experiment suppressed CO2 ammonia content. Fish biomass higher treatment, lower FCR value, indicating good health promoting performance.
